Launched in 2021, Ideal Standard’s retail collection – Bathroom Collections was introduced as part of Ideal Standard’s refreshed retail strategy, centering around a renewed focus on design.
This fresh approach saw products from the Sottini brand absorbed into Bathrooms Collections together with key products from several of the brand’s market-leading ranges. The strategy has been supported by significant investment within the retail market with Bathroom Collections being offered exclusively to independent retail showrooms with preferential terms for showrooms meeting the display criteria.
Dare to be Different with Silk Black
Ideal Standard’s Silk Black finish has been introduced into Bathroom Collections on a select range of fittings, ceramics and furniture. Providing a striking aesthetic, the bold Silk Black range is for customers who dare to be different, offering them a contemporary alternative to traditional white and chrome bathroom suites.
With cutting edge engineering on the inside and a carefully crafted finish on the outside, Silk Black products make the most of Ideal Standard’s heritage in both design and performance.
Silk black Basins
Tesi in Silk Black brings a stunning set of matching vanity basins and units, together with back-to-wall and wall-hung WCs and bidets. Available in 800mm and 600mm widths the vanity basins are complemented by matching wall hung vanity units.
The sleek Connect Air vanity basin in Silk Black is available in widths of 800 and 600mm and is complemented by the Tesi vanity units. Also offered is the 600mm Cube washbasin and the 400mm Cube hand washbasin
Silk Black WC’s
Enhancing the Tesi and Connect Air offering, AquaBlade® technology – the greatest innovation since the flush - features in the WCs, ensuring a hygienic WC, even on a half flush. The innovative solution delivers superior, splash-free ?ushing, combining optimised water pressure, with a channel positioned close to the top of the bowl - meaning that 95% of the surface area beneath is cleaned every time without wasting water.
Silk Black mixers and taps
Whether combining with Silk Black ceramic pieces or with white for a graphic modern interior Ideal Standard’s fittings Silk Black are the perfect choice. The finish is offered on include Ceraline, with its organic, cylindrical shape it brings simple minimalist beauty to the bathroom and Cerafine O, which features stronger lines and a bolder stance. Both are fitted with Ideal Standard’s pioneering FirmaFlow® ceramic disc cartridge, which lasts for twice as long as industry standard cartridges.
Selected models also come with LightMove technology, further adding to users’ control of the water flow and temperature. With a full range of mixers available, from wall-mounted basin mixers to dual control bath fillers and a stunning freestanding bath shower mixer, there is a solution to suit every bathroom.
Silk Black Showering
Also available in Silk Black are the Ceratherm T and Ceratherm C ranges of thermostatic shower mixers. These offer both exposed and built-in options, and together with Idealrain showerkits, rainshowers and ancillaries are the perfect complement for contemporary bathrooms, helping to complete unforgettable spaces.
Available in round or square designs and as a shower mixer or bath/shower mixer with diverter the Ceratherm T and C built in products are fitted with FirmaFlow Therm® technology, Ideal Standard’s most durable thermostatic cartridge yet, a 40° safety button and adjustable temperature limit stop reduces any chance of scalding.
Completing the look are Ideal Standard’s Ultra Flat S shower trays in Jet Black. Available in a wealth of sizes and shapes, the low profile Ultra Flat S trays have a matt stone texture, are anti-slip and bacterial resistant. They can also be installed flush with the floor for the seamless look of a wet room. Together with Connect 2 enclosures and bath screens in Silk Black they are bound to add an extra level of flair or complete a fully monochromatic design.
